With a degree in Visual Communication from Dublin in 1984, I started my career in the design business in Ireland. Soon the potential of computer-based design lured me to London and the Macintosh. However my frustration with the ‘Desktop Publishing’ revolution made me realise that my training could be put to better use in the final stages of design. Everybody with a computer thinks they can be a designer, but the finished job is what sorts the amateurs from the professionals. My understanding of good typography, speed and consistency of delivery and eye for detail are essential if you want quality delivery.

I am available for freelance work and my skills include photo retouching, design implementation and artwork in both corporate and packaging design.
